Being the son of a photographer, I am somewhat ashamed to say that I do not own my own camera. Although photography is not my main hobby, I do very much enjoy taking photos especially commemorative viewpoints. My primary subject for portraits are most definitely flowers, which are right next to landscapes on the list of my most taken photos.
I appreciate photography enough to consider true camera quality image on cell phones, compared to the often sharpened and heavily post-processed images on phones like Samsung and Apple (although they have great focal blurs and a very strong portrait mode!). Personally, I am more a fan of the image as it is, no sharpening, no filters, just a touch of exposure and a quick touch-up to turn each photo into the closest possible version of what I saw. For that reason I went with the Sony Xperia 1 IV which features a magnetic telephoto lens. Almost every photo you see on my website, outside of temporary product image placeholders, are taken with the Sony Xperia 1 IV which I am very happy with. My previous phone was the ROG 2 Phone, which has a few photos featured on this site. It did an okay job, but did not boast the same image quality for portraits.
