Welcome to my personal blog! I initially created this website to document all my hobbies and the various projects that I sometimes fail to document. I wanted a happy medium between doing these projects and remembering the steps I had to take to accomplish them, far in the future.
But projects weren't all, I have lived a full life and traveled far across the United States, from visiting family to taking cross country road trips. With so many things to see, I wanted an easy way to share my journeys and memories with my family and friends. I've come to find that my openness is what helps my strong work ethic, and that's sort of what led to the expansion of this original plan!
So, welcome to my blog and personal service marketplace! Here you can see everything that I have to work with, and a bit of why I love what I do! I started playing music in 4th grade with the clarinet, and at age 10 got my first electric guitar. Since then I've been making punk and hard rock verses and choruses in my head almost daily (honestly, I'd be surprised if it weren't!) In my sophomore year of highschool I joined my local performing arts center, the East Bay Center for the Performing Arts. There I was given the opportunity to widen and hone my skills, and re-found my love for all things performing arts, not just music but theater as well.
I was lucky to be able to take classes on lyrical songwriting, composing, music theory, and most importantly playing with others in a live setting. I was also lucky to be able to study monologues and perform in plays, during which time I found a deep calling to writing and analysis. It was these formative years that shaped me to build my own degree at the University of Redlands, "Critical Analysis and Creative Development". After I graduated from college, I returned back home to give back to the community that shaped me so heavily.
In my late 20's I moved and found myself getting the creative itch and missing the space where I was surrounded by like-minded creatives. I've always loved collaborating with others, and I've always felt especially good at seeing the intentions of an artists work, their strong sides and shortcomings, and helping them create the best version of their art. I found Amazon's ACX.com, an open platform for authors and publishers to find narrators to produce their audiobook! From there I realized that I had even more to share and promptly put this personal blog to use to also promote my online services!
If you are a content creator looking for sound bytes, voiceovers, or if you are an author looking for a narration of your book or short story, I would love to work with you! Reach out! Send me a description of what you're looking for and I'm sure that we will create something amazing together.
Thank you for reading, and I hope you enjoy your time on my website!
I really enjoyed the time it took to reach this point!
